X-GPS Tracker

Set up your phone

1 · Install

Get X-GPS Tracker

Not your phone? Choose another below.

Already installed? Continue below. There is no need to delete a working app.

2 · Set up this phone

Return to your original GPSPRO text message in Messages. Tap the separate Set up this phone link after installation.

If the app asks to change its ID, confirm only if the full ID matches the one GPSPRO assigned to this phone. If the link is missing or does not open the app, use your Personal ID below or contact GPSPRO.

Android: open X-GPS Tracker and enter the Personal ID from your original GPSPRO message. Copy your ID below.

The App Store and Google Play do not carry your Personal ID into the app. If this page closed, reopen the link in your GPSPRO message.

Your Personal ID is for 1 phone only. Moving to a new phone or using 2 phones? Contact GPSPRO before setting up the second phone.

3 · Allow location and tracking

Tracking shares this phone's location with your work coordinator while it is on.

iPhone: choose Allow While Using App, then set Location to Always in iPhone Settings. Keep Precise Location on and allow notifications.

Android: allow location all the time with precise location on. Allow background activity and follow your phone's battery settings below.

Keep tracking on while your coordinator needs you reporting. Follow their schedule. To pause reporting, turn tracking off in the app.

Detailed phone settings and screenshots

Before you start: ask GPSPRO or your coordinator to confirm a recent location from this phone. A dot on the map alone does not confirm reporting.

Your Personal ID

Manual fallback if your setup link is unavailable. Use this ID on your assigned phone only.

New or second phone?

Contact GPSPRO before moving this ID to another phone or setting up a second phone.

If the app asks for an ID, copy or enter the full ID assigned to this phone. If it already matches, leave it unchanged.

Need help with your ID?
1. New installation or reinstall

On iPhone, return to your original GPSPRO text message after installation and tap Set up this phone. If that link is unavailable or the app still asks for an ID, paste or enter the assigned ID. On Android, paste or enter the assigned ID in the app. After reinstalling on the same phone, use your original assigned ID. Continue with Phone settings below.

2. Already installed with the correct ID

Compare the full Personal ID in the app's settings with the ID assigned to this phone above. If they match, keep it. There is no need to reinstall or register another tracker. Continue with Phone settings below and confirm a fresh location below.

3. Different ID or location not updating

Only replace an ID when GPSPRO sent this link for this exact phone. If the current ID is different, turn tracking off in X-GPS Tracker. Open the current ID in the app's settings. On iPhone, tap the gear on the map, then Device ID under Advanced. Replace it with the assigned ID above and check every digit before saving. If no editable ID is shown or the screen differs, contact GPSPRO for help instead of guessing. Turn tracking back on when your coordinator wants you reporting, then ask GPSPRO to confirm a fresh location. Tell GPSPRO that you corrected the ID.

If the ID already matches, leave it unchanged. Check the location, mobile-data and background settings for your phone below. Follow your coordinator's tracking schedule and confirm a fresh location below. Do not guess a server address or change unrelated settings.

Rejected, missing or unconfirmed ID?

If you are unsure this ID belongs to this phone, the app rejects it, or service may have expired or been blocked, contact GPSPRO. Do not invent an ID, reset your account or create another tracker.

This page cannot check your ID, account status or app configuration.

Confirm a fresh location

Follow your coordinator's tracking schedule. Ask GPSPRO or your coordinator to confirm a recent location after setup. A dot on your phone or completing these directions does not confirm that updates reached the system.

About your link and privacy

Keep your setup link and Personal ID private. This page uses the ID only in memory and removes setup details from the current address when possible. It does not save them in its own browser storage or send them to a server. The separate app link in your GPSPRO message passes setup details to the app through your phone's link handling, which may keep a record of that link.
